i don't really watch or put stock in awards shows... but obviously SINNERS should fucking sweep. and i should mention -- SINNERS being second on this list does not mean it wasn't the best and most well-made film of 2025. it obviously was, and by a long damn mile. SUPERMAN just had the advantage of being the first time i saw something i've been waiting for since i learned how to read. both films represent the beauty of cinema, see... SINNERS made me want to create better art, and SUPERMAN made me want to be a better person.

normally i like to talk about music, television, and any other great art from the last year too... but my brain isn't quite working that way right now, if i tried i know i'd leave things out. and if i talked about the books i'd read you'd think we were still living in the '90s! ...see, all the books i read were from the '70s and '80s and... it made sense in my head, okay?

posting here has been slow, partially because i was building this new site and partially because i was trying to figure out how i'd like to create nerd-related video-type stuffs. thanks to the algorithm working for once and feeding me brillant STAR TREK fan creators like ZILA TREKS, and thanks to me realizing i'm never going to want to film myself for hours to do youtubes... i decided on the instagrams.
